Oh whoops, we blinked and the short month is over – welcome to another Mewsfeed!
Mood Meter
🐈⬛️ Felix: I can be weird and healthy at the same time, why?
🍽️ Sneaky: Where is my food? What do you mean, I already ate? LIES!!!
😵💫️ Maryla: Still a little stressed, but it’s getting back to normal.
👾️ Over-Engineering: Always a nice time sink!
🥺️ Number Collapse: Misses being worked on.
2️⃣️ New Project Ideas
It’s time to get distracted! There will be a new side project (secret for now), and I feel very tempted by an idea that would probably not be a mobile game.
Top 5 To Dos
Life is still busy, and I want to think a bit more about improving this section before bringing it back. Writing about every planned item twice (when planning, and then when reviewing) feels tedious sometimes, and I imagine it’s not the most interesting read either.
Last Month
To nobody’s surprise, I didn’t have too much time and brainpower for gamedev. My new Alert system unfortunately didn’t work out the way I wanted it to, and I scrapped it in favour of some cleanups and a bunch of lessons learned. Otherwise, I chased some boring, dumb issues with boring, dumb solutions, took care of cats, and finished up the maintenance tasks so that both Lonely Socks and Count Dartula got new minor updates. Those are now live in the Playstore, and as always I’m happy to hear about any issues!
Next Month
I don’t trust real life just yet, so all plans mentioned here should be taken with a giant truckload of salt. The cats are fine for the moment (I write, just as one sneezes all over himself). Felix even surprised everyone with pretty good results from a blood test, even though he has been acting a little odd, and Sneaky is very excited about her new diet and being as greedy as she possibly can. As long as everyone stays like this, I hope I can finally make progress on Number Collapse. It would be cool to get at least one game mode into a playable state, to get an idea of how fun the entire idea actually is.
I’ll let you know how that went next time. Until then, have a good March!
