Monthly Mewsfeed – Apr 2026

Whoops, I’m late with the Mewsfeed, sorry 😅️ Hello everyone!

Mood Meter

🐌️ Felix: Ill and looking like a slug.
🍴️ Sneaky: The usual greedbag.
🤒️ Maryla: It’s annoying. I want my concentration back.

✨️ Number Collapse: Not quite done, but getting somewhere!
👾️ Over-Engineering: Some cool backend improvements again!

*️⃣️ New Project Ideas

While all the ideas floating through my head aren’t exactly new, I’m having a hard time picking one to focus on after Number Collapse.

Last Month

Overall, April wasn’t too bad, even though I’m dealing with an annoying almost-cold that keeps draining the concentration and Felix is, once again, snotty and needs medicine for his ears.

I added some more missing pieces of Number Collapse:

  • a very simple tutorial screen
  • animations for scoring and gaining/spending energy
  • nicer textures for the blocks
  • prepared the release on the Playstore

The godot framework also got some updates, including improvements to theme generation, better info and options screens and some misc cleanups.

Next Month

I’m still fiddling with the last visuals of Number Collapse, and the logo etc. isn’t done either. While I’m waiting for good ideas to come around, I plan to look at the next minor Godot version. I think there have been a few releases since I last updated. Otherwise, it’s not quite decided what my next project will be, but I hope to start something new soon.

Enjoy May and see you at the start of June!
