Monthly Mewsfeed – Jun 2026

Welcome to another short Mewsfeed! Yep, this is copy-pasted from last month because this one won’t be any better. AND I’m late. Sorry.

Mood Meter

🫠️ Felix: It’s warm.
🤔️ Sneaky: It’s warm, but I actually don’t mind!
🫠️ Maryla: It’s warm.

🤔️ All gamedev projects: I guess humans think it’s warm.

0️⃣️ New Project Ideas

… but a lot of thoughts about older ideas I really want to start. This is a blatant case of “shiny new project” syndrome, and it’s getting harder to resist.

Last Month

I expected it to be bad for gamedev, and it was! And when it wasn’t, a heat wave stole all energy to be productive. Overall, atrocious! I didn’t even bother to keep track of the few things that did happen and vow to do better next month.

Number Rain had a few features added – scores are now kept, there are 2 game modes I’m happy with, and progress is stored and re-loaded when quitting the app.

Number Collapse went ignored, except for some playtesting and maybe a minor bug and some Playstore listing preparations I probably forgot already. Releasing a project is so much less fun than starting a new one 🙁

Next Month

I’m optimistic that I can find time to finally finish that stupid release for Number Collapse. The summer months tend to be a bit more busy with personal life things, and I still don’t trust the weather to not melt my brain some more, but I will do my best. As always, no promises, and I’ll report back next month.

Enjoy July, and if you are in Europe: don’t melt 😅️
