Top 5 To Dos

This section will retire for the moment, because I want to experiment with a new format. From now on, general progress and tasks that were completed between Mewsfeeds will be discussed in “Last Month”, and “Next Month” will get a short and rough outline of what I’m currently working on and hope to achieve.

Last Month

I didn’t have a massive amount of free time or brainpower this month, but Number Collapse is making some progress:

  • 2 game modes are implemented: normal and hard (creative names not included)
  • highscores for both game modes
  • data is stored between gaming sessions
  • some sounds and animations are implemented
  • visuals are coming along

Overall, the game is weird, but in an oddly fun way. I’m quite curious to hear other people’s opinions on it. If this is a case of “only the dev would like this”, I’d not be surprised or offended 😆️

Next Month

Number Collapse is approaching completion, but still needs a load of polish:

  • As always, I haven’t done a tutorial yet, and really hope I can get away with a simple one
  • There is a bunch of animations that is either missing or an ugly placeholder
  • Overall style, sounds, “feel” etc. are still settling into place
  • Logos etc.

If things go really well, I hope I’m approaching a release at the end of April. As always, I’ll let you know how it went. Until then, enjoy the start of spring and happy Easter! 🪺️
